When it comes to marketing then there are numerous ways to show your presence in the market and to your customers. Sending postcards to your customer around holidays is one of them. But of course, you should not risk your brand’s image by sending some randomly picked postcards, bought from some local market. To give a personal touch to your customers, you should send out postcards that are specially customized and designed for your customers with your brand’s name on them. I am going to share some tips with you about creating postcards, which would help you to create a more personalized experience for your customers. But first, let me tell you a little about postcards.

What Are Postcards?

A Postcard is usually a rectangular-shaped thick paper piece of cardboard piece, which is used to send out greetings to your loved ones on special occasions like festivals and birthdays. Well, they are typically rectangular shaped but sometimes the shape could vary. They are usually sent without any envelope. At some places, postcards are less expensive to send than sending letters.

Now I am going to share with you some tips about how you could make your postcards more heartwarming for your customers.

Address Your Customers By Their Name

Send your postcard to your customers with their name on it, and not just the address. Reports have suggested that the postcards or mails have a 135% higher chance of being acknowledged if the name of the recipient is mentioned on them. Plus, this would also reduce the chance of your postcard being sent to any wrong address.

Make Your Messages Steadfast

The message on your postcard should not be just greetings and wishes, it should also render your commitment towards your customers. The message should be purposeful, and it should represent that how much you care about your customers so that they would be in business with you for a long time. But don’t write a lengthy that might bore your customer, write a short and firm message that finely depicts your sincerity and professionalism.

Offer A Personalized Gift Or Discount

This could enhance your brand value. Many big companies that I know sends some kind of gifts or discount to their customers along with their postcards. But it should not be any random discount offer that is running in your company. To make it personalized, you have to do a little research about your customer, need to find about their business requirements, and then offer something related to that.

Try To Decorate It With Photographs

You could make your postcards more business-related, authentic, and decorative with images of your company, your workspace, and your team. And to make it more relatable to any particular festivals, you could add images of the indoor decorations of your office.

Make It Signed By Your Team

This last one is a great idea, and I would personally suggest it to you to try it out. Have your postcard signed by your whole team and send it to your customers. Such a gesture will really create a great impact and will make your customers feel more personalized and exclusive. These small gestures could be ignored, but they have the potential to make or break a business.
